Annual General Meeting

This was held on Wednesday 23rd January at the Korean Embassy in Buckingham Gate. Approximately 50 members were present to hear reports from the Chairman, Treasurer and Social Events Secretary.

The Chairman of the British Korean Veterans Association presented his report on the activities of the BKVA, and the recipient of the 2007 AKS Bursary spoke of her trip to Korea to study contemporary Korean art.

After the formal proceedings we were treated to a buffet with wine.

At the end of the evening we took the opportunity to say goodbye to Ambassador Cho Yoon-je and to thank him for his support during his time in London. The Chairman presented Ambassador Cho with Andrew Marr's "A History of Modern Britain" as a memento from the AKS.
